Hans-Jürgen Gundelach

Hans -Jürgen Gundelach ( born November 29, 1963 in Gelnhausen ) is a former German footballer who was active on the position of the goalkeeper and took part in a total of 130 league games.

Gundelach played from 1977 in the youth of Eintracht Frankfurt. With the harmony he was twice German Youth Champion. The first time in the Youth B in 1980, the. Began his career in the Bundesliga second time in the A- youth 1982 1984 Eintracht Frankfurt, where he was second goalkeeper first and waited for failures of the root goalkeeper. Also in 1991/92 he usually guarded the gate, interrupted only by a red card suspension. Subsequently, he moved to Werder Bremen, where he usually sat again on the bench or playing in the second team. In the first three years he completed for the Green-Whites nine games and in the last two years of his career no more Bundesliga games. By Werder in 1993 he became German champion and runner-up two years later, in 1994 he succeeded with this team a renewed Cup victory.

Hans -Jürgen Gundelach later played as a midfielder for his hometown club TSV Ganderkesee and today operates a computer store in Hude.
