Hans Klenk

Hans Klenk ( born October 28, 1919 in Künzelsau; † 24 March 2009 Vellberg ) was a German rally and race car driver, front passenger, Guinness Book World Record holder and inventor of the so-called rally " Prayer Book ".

Career

Since Klenk began in gliding at the age of eleven, he got in 2000 an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.

It also counts as the inventor of the so-called " prayer book": A route book with records of the peculiarities of a race track from which is the passenger during a rally to the driver the appropriate information to the road surface.

Due to a severe accident during a test drive in August 1953 had to end his racing career Klenk.
