Hans Korte

Hans Korte ( born April 8, 1929 in Bochum ) is a German actor, radio drama and voice actor.

Life

Hans Korte studied music and plays several instruments. In addition to his acting profession, he has been active as a conductor and opera director. He was in many theaters at home; generally known he was roles in television films and series, including a retired union official "Max Reuther " on the side of Will Quadflieg and Mario Adorf in Dieter Wedel The big Bell Home (1992 ) and as underworld godfather in Wedel epic The King of St. Pauli (1997). For the latter production he stepped in as Günter Strack was ill and Mario Adorf was not available. He took another TV role as Augsburg brewery entrepreneurs " August Meyerbeer " in the successful ZDF series of velvet and silk ( 1999-2004). In addition, he worked on such series as Kathrin is the best, with body and soul (ZDF 1989 /1992) and Lorentz and sons.

Korte played at theaters in Bochum, Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen, Kassel, Frankfurt and Munich. From 1965 to 1979 he was a permanent member of the Munich Studio Theater and the Bavarian State Theatre, where he performed, among others, as Hicke animal in Carl Sternheim citizens Schippel and as Theobald mask in the pants. He played Mephistopheles in Faust and the village judge Adam in The Broken Jug, Galy Gay in Bertolt Brecht man is man Schlink in Jungle of Cities and Peachum in The Threepenny Opera. In Friedrich Dürrenmatt's Totentanz Paraphrase Play Strindberg, he was seen as Edgar and occurred in the King John machining.

In recent years, Hans Korte makes itself as a spokesman of audiobooks a name. In August 2006, a read of him audiobook appeared to Patrick Süskind's Perfume. In addition, Korte also worked as a voice actor, lending his voice and Others Claude Rains ( Mr. Smith Goes to Washington), and Keith Michell as James Cook in the TV miniseries wind and stars.

Hans Korte lives in Munich and is married to German actress Barbara Rath. In his first marriage he was married to actress Karin Eickelmann tree. He is the father of the puppeteer Thomas Korte.
