Hans Leitert

Hans Chiefs ( born January 15, 1973 in Vienna ) is a retired Austrian football player at the position of goalkeeper and current goalie coach.

Career as a player

Chiefs began his football career at the Vienna State League club SC Essling 1984., He moved on loan to the Viennese tradition FK Austria Wien and was behind Friedl Koncilia, the former goalkeeper of the Austrian national second goalkeeper. He was keeper of the former U18 and U21 national team. From 1992 to 1995, he tried to collect East match practice in the Regionalliga. In 1995 he received at VfB Mödling the youngest goalie in Austria a professional contract, injured but soon the finger hard. Handicapped by this injury, he did not reach the level and ended after a new change to Wr. Sports club his career in 1998.

During his active time Chiefs studied at the University of Vienna Sports Science and spondierte 1999.

In 2007 he published his book The Art of goalkeeping or the seven principles of the masters. In 2008 the book was published in English as The art of goalkeeping or the seven principles of the masters.

Chiefs is goalie coach and advisor to various youth centers. He currently leads the goalkeeper training at Red Bull Salzburg.

He is married and has one daughter.
