Hans Luber

Hans Luber (* October 15, 1893 in Munich, † October 15, 1940 ) was a German diver who at the Olympics won the silver medal in springboard diving in 1912.

Luber began his career at the Munich swimming club, but then moved to Berlin, where he competed for Poseidon Berlin. At the Olympic Games 1912, the German art Springer won all three medals: gold received PaulGünther before Hans Luber and Kurt Behrens. The following year, Luber won the German championship in springboard diving.

Mid-1920s returned Luber back as Springer from the 10 - meter tower, from 1925 to 1927, he won at the German Championship. 1926 and 1927 he won the European Championship.

Luber was a sports teacher at the Berlin electricity works and taught at the Berlin Academy of Physical Education. In 1914 he published the book The swimming.
