Hans Mild

Hans " Tjalle " Mild ( born July 31, 1934 in Stockholm, † December 23, 2007 ) was a Swedish football, bandy and ice hockey player and hockey coach.

Career

Mild debuted in the late 1950s in both the football and the hockey team Djurgårdens IF. With the football team, he was in 1959 and 1964 Swedish national champion. In 1964 he was also awarded as Sweden's Footballer of the Year. He also played 31 times for the Swedish national football team.

In Hockey Mild was even more successful, the team Djurgårdens IF was from 1958 to 1963 series champion in Sweden. In 1964 he took part with the country selection in the Olympics and won the silver medal. Overall, he played 63 games hockey for his country. In the 1970s he worked as manager of Djurgårdens IF.
