Hans Moretti

Hans Moretti ( born July 24, 1928 in Becker Village, East Galicia, Poland today: Ukraine, † March 12, 2013 in Dillingen / Saar, real name: Hans Cewe ) was a German magician. He lived in Dillingen / Saar.

Life

Hans Moretti came from the East Galician village Becker, a company founded in 1784 German colony near Pidhajzi. Situated on the banks of the river Koropetz place is called today Yustynivka and belongs to Ukraine. Cewe left as an ethnic German, his native village with his family after the Hitler -Stalin pact and moved back to Germany. There he met his future wife, Helga know and settled in Landsweiler speeches. 1944, Moretti before choosing a career officer in the Middle service, but opted for a career as a magician.

Moretti was two -time world champion, has 18 entries in the Guinness Book of World Records, received the Masters Fellowship Award from the Academy of Magical Arts and was honored with the Federal Cross of Merit. His autobiography was published in 1997 in the gull -Verlag. He had his last appearance New Year's Eve 2006 in Warnemünde. He ended his career as a magician after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

His three children Hans Moretti jun., Peter Moretti and daughter Nicole Moretti perform on his memory and also occur as a magician.
