Hans Ruch

Hans Ruch (* September 8, 1898; † August 8, 1947 ) was a German football player.

The striker, who has been described as an agile outside right, initially played for Union 92 Berlin. This club played in Germany, although now no matter much, yet he succeeded in 1925 to make the player Hans Ruch international player. Two internationals he graduated, namely against Sweden and Finland.

Ruch but then moved to Hertha BSC, now a first-class club. The Berlin had collected a pretty strong team. Hanne Sobek, Karl Tewes and Willi Kirsei were new to the team along with Ruch. In 1926 Ruch then already in work in his first final of the German Cup. Although he scored the opening goal against SpVgg Fürth Hertha lost with 1:4. Even a year later it resubmitted again only for runners. Against 1 FC Nuremberg they lost 0-2. And the final defeats went on: 1928 the team had against Hamburger SV in the 2:5 defeat no chance; 1929 was the enemy again SpVgg Fürth, this time made ​​the 3-2 winning goal in the 85th minute only. Before that Berlin had but the last year's champion defeated Nuremberg with the same result.

Only in 1930 could celebrate the championship at the Hertha Africans. At 40 degrees in the shade to Holstein Kiel and Hertha BSC provided a real battle for the title. Stand it at halftime already 3:3, then led Hertha 4:3, the Kiel lost Johannes Ludewig by sending off and came to a 4:4 yet. Even before had Ruch may again play in the national team. In the 1-1 draw against Scotland in Berlin Ruch had scored the German goal, his international career was thus yet over.

1931 brought the Berlin the next track. 1860 Munich was beaten in the final 3-2, the winning goal came via Kirsei also only in the penultimate minutes. 1932 Hertha came in the regional final only in 2nd place behind Minerva 93 Berlin and not in the finals. Minerva Berlin flew already in the first round of the competition.

The career of Hans Ruch ended in 1935 after a double broken leg. Twelve years later died, the trained electrician on a treacherous disease.
