Hans Selander

Hans " Hasse " Selander ( born March 15, 1945) is a former Swedish football player.

Career

Selander began his career at Helsingborgs IF, for which he took up in the Allsvenskan in 1962. After his club was relegated in 1969 as second to last in the Division 1 he moved on to league rivals Uppsala IF. Here he was until 1972 under contract. In 1973, he began the season in January at IK Sirius, but moved to Germany in the summer to Wormatia Worms in the Regionalliga West. After 18 sessions, in which he scored four goals, he moved back to Sweden in 1974 to IK Sirius. In 1975, he joined Halmstad BK. With the club he was two times Swedish champion in 1981 and finished his active career.

Selander was 42 times for Sweden on the field and was able to achieve three goals. The country selection, he participated in the 1970 World Cup, but just different from in the first round.
