Hans Walzhofer

Johann rolling Hofer ( * March 23, 1906, † unknown) was an Austrian football player.

Club career

1922 Johann rolling Hofer began his football career at Jedlersdorfer SC and moved in 1926 to the larger district rivals AC Floridsdorfer moved, where he played his first game in the league in I. spring. For change of season, he moved to SK Rapid, but where he got no chance in the first team. Therefore he joined after half a year the Wiener AC and was soon able to gain a regular place in the forward line, where he already became the top scorer of his club in 1927/28. 1928 reached the final at the WAC OFB Cup, where they defeated with 1:2 against SK Admira Vienna after rolling Hofer had between periods provided for compensation. In the next season he was able to take second place in the scoring charts with 14 goals and then moved to SC Wacker Wien.

The Meidlingern he was to spend the next 15 years of his career, where he was employed either as a center forward or as links connector and during that time was mostly with Karl Zischek together in the forward line. He was also placed in the top three scorer two more times. Despite the results of its two star striker Wacker, however, a long time about places in the middle of the table did not come out. In the late 1930s, however, the club closed at the top Austrian and three times could reach the second place in the championship in a row. National

His debut for the national team, he gave in November 1927 in a 0-1 against Italy, after two more games in 1928, but was followed by a long pause, for he received the next convening only for the game against Czechoslovakia in April 1931, which for the Nations counted, the Austrians were able to decide for themselves. Coaching career

In 1947 he took over as coach at SK Admira Vienna, which he was to hold for over five years. Greatest success during rolling Hofer Trainerära was reaching the finals in Vienna's Cup in 1948, which was lost with 1:2 against FK Austria Wien. Early 1953, he resigned as coach Admira. After that, he was still coach at SC gas station, before 1957 he retired from football.
