Hans Weymar

Hans Adolph Weymar ( born 1 February 1884 in Uelsby; † July 4, 1959 in Hamburg ) was a German football player.

The midfielder ( outrunner ) of SC Victoria Hamburg graduated four caps for Germany. This also includes the first international match of the DFB on April 5, 1908 in Basel against Switzerland. After a sustained during World War heel injury he had to stop playing football and played tennis instead.

During a tennis game Weymar suffered a heart attack at the consequences of which he died.

Weymar completed an apprenticeship as a banker and worked as manager of a cattle wholesalers on the Hamburg slaughterhouse later.
