Hanson Brothers

The Hanson Brothers are a Canadian punk band, a side project of Rob and John Wright and Tom Holliston, members of the legendary Canadian punk band Nomeansno.

History

Ken Jensen of D.O.A. was originally the drummer for the Hanson Brothers. He died during a house fire in 1995. Ken Kempster ( Showbusiness Giants ), succeeded him. Ernie Hawkins occasionally plays live drums. Mike Branum of The Freak Accident is now playing for future tours of the Hanson Brothers live drums.

Their songs follow the style of the Ramones and relate primarily to beer, ice hockey and women.

Originally launched the Hanson Brothers as a fun side project. But now three albums have been released and some singles. In September 2008, the live album "It's a Living " was released by Southern Records.
