Harald Heide-Steen Jr.

Harald Heide- Steen Jr. ( born August 18, 1939 in Oslo, † July 3, 2008 in Bærum ) was a Norwegian actor and comedian.

Life

Harald Heide- Steen Jr. was the son of Norwegian actor and theater director Harald Heide- Steen. At the age of eleven he was in Let's Make an Opera by Benjamin Britten made ​​his stage debut at the Oslo Nye Teater. A year later, he played in Tancred Ibsen film Storfolk above Småfolk ( Large and small people ) a minor role.

He became well known, not least from the 1970s as eternally drunken " Dynamitt - Harry " in the Norwegian remake of the Olsen Gang films. Compared to the Danish original role in Norwegian films was significantly expanded.

Private

Heide- Steen Jr. was married to his third wife with Gullen Øyehaug and together they had two children together. From a previous marriage he had one child.

In October 2007, Heide- Steen Jr. publicly stated that he was suffering from terminal lung cancer and the doctors have given him a forecast for two months without proper treatment. He lived until his death in Bærum and died on 3 July 2008 to his illness. Until shortly before his death, he was still in the Norske Teatret on stage.
