Harald Thon

Harald Thon (born 1954 ) is a former Norwegian orienteers.

Harald Thon is the older brother of world-class orienteer Øyvin Thon, the single became world champion in 1979 and 1981 and a total of five times with the squadron won the world championship. As part of the Norwegian season of the eighties was Harald Thon even 1981 and 1983 World Champion. At the World Championships 1981 in Thun, Switzerland, he was 10th in the individual race. In the Nordic Championships, he won three bronze and one silver medal, with his bronze medal from 1980, when he from Norway was third in the individual running behind Lars Lönnkvist from Sweden and gates Sagvolden, represents his best individual result at international championships.
