Hard Rain (Bob Dylan album)

Hard Rain is a live album by Bob Dylan from the year 1976. Was during the second part of his Rolling Thunder Revue on May 16, 1976 in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 23, 1976 Hughes Stadium in Fort Collins, Colorado was added.

From the concert on May 23, also a film recording was made, which was sent in September 1976 by NBC.

The album was named after one of Dylan's most famous pieces (A Hard Rain 's A- Gonna Fall ), although this song is not even on the LP.

The choice of songs seems an overview of Dylan's previous whole story to be and has songs from the albums Blonde on Blonde ( Stuck Inside Of Mobile ... ), Desire (Oh, Sister), Blood On The Tracks ( Shelter from the Storm, You're A Big Girl Now idiot and wind) and Nashville Skyline ( Lay Lady Lay and I Threw It All Away ) on. The pieces were there sometimes radically rearranged. The album documents not complete appearance and no chronologically correct excerpt of a concert.
