Hardcore Superstar

Hardcore Superstar is a Swedish hard rock and Sleaze Rock band from Gothenburg. It was founded in 1997 and has since had numerous hit singles in Sweden.

Band History

Shortly after its founding in the fall of 1997, she got her first recording contract with Gain Records, which, for the time being only on the Swedish market released their debut album "It 's Only Rock'n'Roll ".

This debut of the band opened the doors for the label Music For Nations, where she signed a contract for their international debut "Bad Sneakers and a Piña Colada " ( The title comes from a song by Steely Dan from their album " Katy Lied "). After the video was nominated for a Swedish Grammy for Liberation, the group embarked on their first European and Japanese tour. In 2005 released their eponymous album Hardcore Superstar Hardcore Superstar and received a very extensive media coverage. Worldwide tours followed.

2007 followed the next highly successful album titled " Dreaming in a Casket ," which continued the successful trend of the band.
