The Hardey River is a river in the north-west of the Australian state of Western Australia. It is located in the Pilbara region.
Geography
The river rises at Mount Tom Price Tom Price and flows of State Road No. 138 (Connection Tom Price - Nanutarra Roadhouse ) following first southwest and then west. In Hardey Junction the river in the Ashburton River flows.

Origin of the name
The river was in 1861 by researchers Francis Gregory, named during one of his expeditions to the settlers of the Swan River Colony J. Hardey, a family friend.
