Geography
Geographical location
Hardt is located about 15 kilometers west of Rottweil in the Black Forest Nature Park Central / North on the wooded Hardt, one to the east and southeast inclined, free high plateau on the eastern edge of the Middle Black Forest.
Neighboring communities
The municipality is bordered to the north and west on the town Schramberg, to the east by Eschbronn and on the south by King im Schwarzwald -Baar -Kreis.
Community structure
The municipality includes the village Hardt Hardt, settlements and parts Tischneck, the hamlet Hugswald, the courtyards Friedrich Berg, Lake of nails, nuns mountain and stone Reute and the living space Neuwelt.
History
Formerly belonged to the municipality of today's denunciation Hardt Mariazell. 1840 Hardt received the status of an independent political community. Since 1938, Hardt belongs to the district of Rottweil.
Policy
The community belongs to the Agreed administrative community of the city Schramberg.
Mayor Herbert Halder been in office since 1986 and was re-elected in June 2010 for an additional eight -year term.

Amusement Park

Hiking
