Harel Levy

Harel Levy (* August 5, 1978 in the kibbutz Nachschonim ) is a former Israeli tennis player.

Life

Levy lives in Ramat haScharon in Israel. The 1.85 m wide right-handed began in 1995 with the professional sports. He was trained by Oded Jacob. He stood twice in a single final at the World Tour, but lost both. His only title he won in 2000 in Newport with Jonathan Erlich. Levy was during his last active years of Israel 's best tennis players. His career was repeatedly interrupted by inserts in the Israeli military as well as due to surgical problems with his hip. Because of his injury, he was on 1 March 2011 announced his retirement. His best finish in the world rankings was ranked 30 in June 2001.

He played a total of 21 matches for the Israeli Davis Cup team. With 20:16 wins his record in individual is positive, with 3:4 victories is its balance sheet in double contrast negative.
