Hareri National League

The Hareri National League ( Amharic የሐረሪ ብሔራዊ ሊግ, German National League of Aderi, abbreviation HNL) is a political party in the region of Harar, a small autonomous region in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

The current chairman, Murad Abdullahi is also president of the Harar region. In order for the HNL ​​is also the ruling party in this ethnically defined region.

History

The party was founded as a regional partner of the Revolutionary Democratic Front of the Ethiopian peoples, the party coalition that governed at the national level on 25 August in 1991 and officially registered on 26 May 1994.
