Harkány

Harkány [ hɒrka ː ɲ ] ( German: Harkan ) is a city in southern Hungary with about 3600 inhabitants.

Location

Harkány is the neighboring town of Siklos and lies like this at the foot of the Villány Mountains in the south of Baranya County. The border with Croatia, which runs along the Drava River is only 7 km away. In 4 to 6 km Distance villages Ipacsfa, Kovácshida and Márfa and to the north lie - right on the mountainside - the pilgrimage Máriagyűd belonging to Siklos.
