Harlowton is a small town in Montana. The administrative seat of Wheatland County was founded in 1900 as a railway station and is named after the President of the Montana Railroad, Richard A. Harlow, named.
Geography
Harlowton is located in the center of Montana, on the slopes of the Crazy Mountains. Other mountain ranges in the area include the Big Snowy Mountains, the Little Belt Mountains, the Bull Mountains and the Castle Mountains. The metropolitan area has a size of 1.5 km ².
