Harmon County is a county located in the state of Oklahoma in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Hollis.

Geography

The County is located in the extreme southwest of Oklahoma, bordered on the west and south to Texas and has an area of ​​1395 square kilometers, of which 2 square kilometers is water area. History

Harmon County was formed in 1909 from parts of Greer County and Jackson County. It was named after Judson Harmon, a lawyer, U.S. Attorney General, Governor of Ohio and presidential candidate.
