Harpal Brar

Harpal Brar ( born October 5, 1939 in Muktsar, Punjab ) is an Indian -born politician and businessman in the UK. Brar is the chairman of the Communist Party of Great Britain / Marxists -Leninists ( CPGB -ML ) and the Stalin Society, editor of two political magazines and runs a cloth shop in Hampstead.

Life

Brar has lived in Britain since 1962. Since 1979 he is the bimonthly political magazine " Lalkar ", a former member of the Indian Workers' Association of Great Britain, out. In summer 1996 he gave up his work as Professor of Private International Law at the University of Westminster in London to devote himself entirely to his political and journalistic work. In 1997, he joined the Socialist Labour Party (SLP ) by Arthur Scargill. In March 2002, Brar presented in a reading tour in 16 different locations in Germany his book " Imperialism Today" before.
