Harri Koskela

Harri Koskela Matias ( born October 8, 1965 in Lapua ) is a former Finnish wrestler. The 1.85 meter tall Harri Koskela wrestled in the Greco -Roman style in the light heavyweight division.

His international career began in 1984 and ended with a 20th place finish at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. In the 1988 Olympics he finished second behind Atanas Komtschew from Bulgaria. In 1990, he finished second at the World Championships in Ostia behind Maik Bull man from the GDR again. A year later he was third in the World Championships, behind bull man and the Cubans Reynaldo Pena Borroto. In the 1992 Olympics he was only eleventh.

In Finland, where he went to the start for the club Lapuan Virkiä and Nurmon Jymy, he was from 1987 to 1996 Finnish Champion, 1984 and 1986 runner-up and 1985 third.
