Harrisia is a genus in the cactus family ( Cactaceae ). Is named the genus after the plant collector William Harris. He was Superintendent of Public Gardens and Plantations of Jamaica.

Description

There are tree-like, sometimes climbing or Shrubby growing cacti with cylindrical stems. You can reach stature heights of up to 7 m.
