Harrison Barnes

Harrison Bryce Jordan Barnes (born 30 May 1992, Ames, Iowa) is an American professional basketball player with the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. He plays the position of small forward.

High school career

In his second season at the Ames High School, he led them to the title of the Iowa State Conference in which he scored 24 points and eight rebounds. This season, the high school had not suffered a defeat, 26-0 victory. Next year, the school won the second Conference title. At the end of his high school career, he was with 1787 points, the best scorer in the history of the Ames High School.

College career

The prestigious colleges Duke University, Iowa State University, University of Kansas, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Oklahoma State University, and UCLA were interested in Barnes. In the end he chose the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Pro career

On March 29, he announced that he would sign up for the NBA Draft in 2012. He participated in four pre-draft workouts and that part at the Cleveland Cavaliers, Toronto Raptors, Charlotte Bobcats and Washington Wizards. In the Draft, he was selected seventh points of the Golden State Warriors.
