Harrison Craig

Craig Harrison ( born September 7, 1994, Melbourne) is an Australian pop singer. He was known in 2013 as the winner of the second season of the talent show The Voice.

Biography

Craig Harrison is suffering since childhood under stuttering and his mother noted that he had a talent for singing, she reported him to the Victorian Boys Choir and organized for him singing lessons. At age 18, he applied to the talent show The Voice. He was one of four players who could enter with his song from the blind auditions, Broken Vow by Lara Fabian, in the top 50 of the Australian charts. Also, each of his other songs could be placed in the charts. Craig was further selected in all rounds of the audience and eventually won the final ahead of Luke Kennedy, who had already been on the road as a professional singer with the Ten Tenors.

After the final missed his songs Unchained Melody and More Than a Dream with second and third place just under the top chart. The show album with recordings of songs from the various round but two weeks later reached number one and stayed there for two weeks. It was also certified platinum. In New Zealand, came the album at number one.
