Harry Benjamin Wolf

Harry Benjamin Wolf ( born June 16, 1880 in Baltimore, Maryland, † February 17, 1944 ) was an American politician. Between 1907 and 1909 he represented the state of Maryland in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Harry Wolf attended the public schools of his home. After a subsequent law studies at the University of Maryland and his 1901 was admitted to the bar he began to work in Baltimore in this profession. He was also active in the real estate business. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Democratic Party launched a political career. Between 1906 and 1908 he sat in the House of Representatives from Maryland.

In the congressional elections of 1906, Wolf was in the third electoral district of Maryland in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Frank Charles Wachter on March 4, 1907. Since he has not been confirmed in 1908, he was able to complete only one term in Congress until March 3, 1909. After the end of his time in the U.S. House of Representatives Wolf took his previous activities on again. He died on 17 February 1944 in his hometown of Baltimore, where he was also buried.
