Harry Groener
Harry Groener ( born September 10, 1951 in Augsburg) is an American film actor. He became known in particular in the role of Richard Wilkins III, the demonic main opponent in the third season of Buffy - the Vampire Slayer.
Life
The son of a U.S. soldier and a German woman was born in the period of occupation in Germany. Harry grew therefore bilingual. 1953, Groener was just two years old, the family moved to San Francisco where Groener later completed his training at the Municipal Ballet. He then studied at the School of Drama at the University of Washington, where he also obtained a degree.
He then played in both classic plays, as well as in various musical productions. For his achievements in Oklahoma! (Will Parler, 1980), Cats ( Munkustrap, the leader of the Jellicles, 1983) and Crazy for You (1992 ) he was nominated for a Tony Award, respectively.
Today, Harry Groener is married to the actress Dawn Dida Wick; the couple have no children.
