Harry L. Shapiro

Harry Lionel Shapiro ( born March 19, 1902 in Boston; † 7 January 1990) was an American anthropologist. Among others, he wrote a work on the " Peking Man ", a discovery of Homo erectus bones in China by 1920.

His parents were Polish Jews who emigrated to the United States.
