Harry McClintock

Harry McClintock ( born October 8, 1882 in Knoxville, Tennessee, † April 24, 1957 in San Francisco, California ), also known as Haywire Mac, was an American composer.

Life

McClintock was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he also grew up. Later he moved to New Orleans, where he already wrote as a teenager some of his later hits. He was inspired by the vagrants, called " hobos " or " thud ", processed their stories and everyday McClintock in the songs. He was a host of a daily children's program of the music channel KFRC named Mac and his gang especially in children and adolescents from the mid- 1920s, extremely popular.
