Harry Poulos

Harry George Poulos (* April 27, 1940 in Katoomba ) is a Greek Australian Civil Geotechnical, internationally known as an expert on pile foundations.

Poulos graduated from the University of Sydney, where he made ​​1961 a bachelor's degree in 1965 and his doctorate. 1964/65 he was an engineer at MacDonald Wagner and Priddle. From 1965 he was Lecturer, Senior Lecturer in 1969, Reader in 1972 and from 1982 professor at the University of Sydney and is now Professor Emeritus there.
