Harry Sacksioni

Harry Sacksioni ( born October 23, 1950 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch guitarist and composer.

Work

The highlight of his success reached Sacksioni in the 1970s. His most famous works are Meta Sequoia, Vensters, Elixer or Thee bij tante Josephine. In Germany he became known as a sideman by Herman van Veen, with the Sacksioni in the early 1970s, took up numerous records and whom he accompanied on stage.

Sacksioni considers it important that his music is not commercial; his works are published exclusively on an independent label. In this way, he protests against the high prices of the audio CD.

Sacksioni used different guitars in his recordings and on stage. Especially for him a zweihalsige guitar was made ( an assembly of an acoustic and an electric guitar ).
