Harry Tincknell

Harry Tincknell (born 29 October 1991 in Exeter, England ) is a British racing driver. He joined in 2013 the European Formula 3 Championship.

Career

Tincknell began his motorsport career in 2001 in karting, where he was active until 2008. In 2008 he moved to Formula racing and competed in the Winter Championships of the British and the Portuguese Formula Renault. In 2009 he joined for CRS Racing in the British Formula Renault. With two second places as the best results he finished the season off in fifth place overall. The subsequent winter championship of the British Formula Renault, he chose for himself. He also appeared to be two races of the North European Formula Renault. 2010 remained Tincknell in the British Formula Renault at CRS Racing. Although he scored two wins and was again in the championship in fifth place.

2011 moved to Tincknell Fortec Motorsport in the British Formula 3 Championship. With a win, he finished the season in eleventh place in the championship. During test runs after the season at Spa- Francorchamps Tincknell had an accident in which he broke a finger. The connection between fingers and hand was badly affected. After an intensive medical treatment completed Tincknell Carlin 2012 for his second British Formula 3 season. He won four races and scored nine podium finishes. While his team-mate Jack Harvey took the championship title, Tincknell was fifth overall. In addition, he completed three guest appearances in the Formula 3 Euro Series.

2013 Tincknell moved along with Carlin in the European Formula 3 Championship. He won a race and was a total of three times on the podium. As the best Carlin driver, he finished the season in fifth place in the overall standings.
