Hartmut Nassauer

Hartmut Nassauer ( born October 17, 1942 in Marburg) is a German politician ( CDU). He was interior minister of Hesse and by the end of 2006 Chairman of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group in the European Parliament.

Life

The Dautphe from originating in central Hesse Nassauer worked after studying law and political sciences in Frankfurt and Marburg an der Lahn (1964-1968), first as Judge at the Landgericht Kassel and at the District Court Wolf Hagen. Since 1979 he has been admitted to the District Court of Kassel.

From 1974 to 1994, Nassauer member of the Hessian Parliament: 1987-1990 Chairman of the CDU faction in the Hessian Parliament, from November 1990 to April 1991 Hessian Minister of the Interior, 1991-1994 Vice- President of the Hesse Landtag.
