Haruko Momoi

Haruko Momoi (Japanese桃井 はるこ; born December 14, 1977 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese singer, song writer and seiyū. She calls herself like Halko; furthermore she had the film 2001: A Space Odyssey inspired ( HAL 9000). Her trademark is her unusual squeaky voice.

Biography

End of the nineties, Haruko began singing in the streets of Harajuku and Akihabara. In 2000, she released her first single mail Me, a new recording of a song of the film Sucide Circle. Shortly after, she got her first speaking role ( Komugi Nakahara ) for the anime The Soultaker. In 2002 she founded together with Masaya Koike the duo Under17. They produced many songs for video games, eroge and anime. Since the dissolution of Under17 in September 2004 Halko writes songs alone to continue. In October 2005, she got her own radio show at Radio Osaka, where she presented her new songs. Since 2006, Halko is at the label avex mode as a composer and singer under contract. In 2007, she gave up on the anime convention Connichi in Germany three, two in 2008 and 2010 a concert.

On 15 October 2011 she was part of the Japan Day in Dusseldorf go. She sat on the jury of the cosplay fashion show and evaluated the work of the cosplayers. The day before they played a concert in the evening.
