Harzer Wandernadel

The Harz hiking pin is an award system active hikers. Hikers can gain by achieving and documenting Stamp Set hiking needles of varying degrees. With 222 Stamp Set in three provinces and in five counties in the resin and a five-digit number of participants, the system has become a high national importance.

Purpose

With the hiking Adelharz travelers should put an attractive target and their length of stay can be extended. Tourists and locals should be encouraged to go hiking.

The Harz hiking pin can be hiked in several stages:

• 050 Stamp: Harzer Wanderkönig
• 111 Stamp: Harzer Steiger (111 different stamps points, including 22 special mining sites)
• 222 Stamp: Harz hiking Emperor

It is permissible to increase the award by one. There is no time limit within which the stamps are to be collected. Since 2011, for younger hikers the award as walking or hiking Princess Prince for children up to eleven years after detection of eleven hiked stamp points.

Furthermore, there is a hiking badge " Harz Witches " have to be presented for a total of 11 stamps in connection with the Harz Witches. Since 2010 there is also the hiking needles " Harz border " (20 stamps ) and " Goethe in the Harz " (28 stamps ).
