Hase Spezialräder
Hase bikes is a German manufacturer of specialty wheels based in Waltrop, the bikes also appears under the international name Hase. The product range of the company includes sun tricycles, tandems and recumbents levels. For most models offered specialized equipment are available so that the bikes for rehabilitation purposes can be used. The bikes are mainly distributed on the European and North American market. With a sale of 1200 special wheels annually hare applies not only to HP Velotechnik as one of the world leaders in the market segment of recumbents.
Company History
In 1989, the company's founder Marec Hase won with a tandem tricycle the national Young Scientists competition in North Rhine -Westphalia. A year later occupied bunny with a Faltliegerad the result of competition for second place. The company Hase bikes was founded in 1994 as a garage company in Bochum. In 2001, the factory moved to a building of the former Zeche Waltrop. 2007 Rabbit was honored with the special wheels Vestische enterprise award.

Hase bikes holds the registered in the Guinness Book of Records world record for the longest train of bicycles. In 2003, 62 per Kettwiesel part in the record attempt. For extra layer 2007 broke its own record with a rabbit Tandemzug from 93 wheels, which had a length of over 150 meters ..
