Haselund

Haselund is a municipality in the district of North Friesland Schleswig -Holstein. Brook and Kollund lie in the municipality.

Geography and transport

Haselund is located about 18 km northeast of Husum on the main road 200 from Husum to Flensburg.

History

Around 8000 BC was located on the present-day municipality a "settlement authority " of the witness some small appliances.

The three locations Brook, Haselund and Kollund were originally Dorfschaften the Kirchspielslandgemeinde community Viöl in a circle Husum. 1934 Kirchspielslandgemeinde municipality was dissolved and the village communities were autonomous rural communities. That same year, Brook and Kollund was incorporated by Haselund.

Policy

Of the eleven seats in the municipal council has the voter community AADW since the local elections of 2013 four seats, the SPD has three and the voter communities AWH and WGE two seats.

Economy and infrastructure

The community, and especially the district Haselund is predominantly agricultural, with the dairy industry has a vital role. In addition, there is a number of commercial enterprises in the municipality.

Haselund has a primary school, which is attended by children of the neighboring community Löwenstedt.
