Hashimoto (Wakayama)
Hashimoto (Japanese桥 本市, -shi ) is a city in Wakayama Prefecture in Japan.
Geography
Hashimoto is located south of Osaka and east of Wakayama.
History
The city was Hashimoto (纪 见 村,山 田村,岸上 村,隅 田村, and学 文 路 村) founded on 1st January 1955 from the union of church Hashimoto (桥本 町, -chō ) with 5 villages of the district Ito. On 1 March 2006 the church was Kōyaguchi (高 野 口 町, -chō ) incorporated from selbigem county.
