Hassan II Mosque

The Hassan II Mosque (Arabic: مسجد الحسن الثاني masjid al -Hasan ath - Thani, DMG masǧid al -Hasan at- tani ) in Casablanca is one of the largest mosques in the world.

Its minaret is 210 meters high, currently the tallest minaret and the tallest religious structure in the world. It was built for the 60th birthday of former Moroccan King Hassan II and completed in 1993.
