Hasselbrack

The Hassel Brack is 116.2 m above sea level. NHN is the highest elevation in Hamburg ( Germany ).

It is located on the southern border of Lower Saxony in the Black Mountains, a north branch of the Harburg Hills in Neugraben- Fischbek district. There he is in the state forest rose garden at the interface between the Daerstorfer heath belonging to Fischbek settlement forest peace in the North, New Wulmstorf Temple Mountain in the west and Rose Garden Alvesen in the east.

On the top of Hassel Bracks is a trigonometric point in the forest only a few feet is next to the local hiking trail and the highest point features. On July 16, 2011, a wooden cross on the summit was built, which was replaced in spring 2013 by the hikers Hamburg by an obelisk of white granite.
