Hastilude

Hastiludia is a generic term for knightly tournaments with lances, called Lanz games. To ensure that all types of tournaments are meant in which lances ( spears tournament and race skewers ) play a role. The term derives from the Latin Hastiludia hastiludium what Lanz game means.
