Hastings County
Hastings County is a county located in the southeast of the Canadian province of Ontario. The county seat is Belleville, which is however independent of the County. The population is 134 934 (2011), the area of 6103.48 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 22.1 inhabitants per km ². The County is located on the north shore of Lake Ontario. From 1837 to 1849 it was called the Victoria County.
