HAT-P-5

HAT- P-5 is a star of spectral type G, which is about 1,000 light- years away from Earth. He is surrounded by an exoplanet, called HAT- P-5 b.

Exoplanet

HAT- P- 5b was detected as part of the HATNet Project in 2007. It orbits the central star with a period of 2.79 days at a distance of approximately 0.04 astronomical units, and has about one Jupiter mass.
