The Hattersheim ( Main) railway station is next to the breakpoint Eddersheim one of two S-Bahn stops in the Hessian town Hattersheim, southwest of Frankfurt am Main. Both breakpoints are located on the Taunus Railway from Wiesbaden to Frankfurt.

History

The station was opened on 24 November 1839. He is a railway station on the opened 1839-1840, the oldest railway in the state of Hesse (Taunus Railway ). The station building was built in 1842 Hattersheim was initially a major hub of postal services by coaches. Existed here, " one of the greatest coaching inns of the Princely House of Thurn und Taxis ". With the opening of the railway station of the city lost this meaning. Infrastructure

Operation

S -Bahn

The S- trains run from Monday to Friday every half hour on the track Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof - Rödermark-Ober Roden. Bus
