Hattie is a British television film of the BBC Four over the life of the actress Hattie Jacques.

Background

The film Hattie was first broadcast in the UK on January 19, 2011. The film was directed by Dan Zeff. The television film based on the biography " Hattie Jacques, An Authorised Biography " by Andy Merriman and deals with the life of the actress Hattie Jacques. Action

The actress Hattie Jacques lives with her husband John Le Mesurier and her two sons in a house together, when she meets the young chauffeur John Schofield. This is ten years younger than her. The two begin an affair. Hattie loves her husband still, but Schofield offers her the passion and romance that she misses with her husband.
