The Haughton Crater is an impact crater. It is located on Devon Island in Nunavut Territory, an area of the Canadian Arctic. It has a diameter of 20 kilometers and was formed by a meteorite impact 39 million years. It is one of the northernmost crater that have been discovered so far (75 ° 22'N, 89 ° 41'W ). It is the only known crater in the world, surrounded by polar ice desert.
