Haujobb

Haujobb is a German music group covering their songs a wide spectrum of electronic music. This ranges from electro to techno IDM.

History

Haujobb was founded in 1993 and originally consisted of three persons: Dejan Samardzik (sound, programming), Björn Jünemann (sampler, programming, concept ) and Daniel Myer (vocals, sound, programming).

The debut album was Homes & Gardens. Since 1995, Haujobb is only a duo consisting of Samardzik and Myer after Jünemann (now Standeg ) had with his brother Sven started a solo project. Haujobb published since the album Freeze Frame Reality ( this even with Björn and Sven Jünemann Jünemann on guitar ), Solutions for a Small Planet, The Matrix, Ninetynine, Polarity and Vertical Theory.

In the early days Haujobb were compared due to their complex sound structures with Skinny Puppy. This status they had already left with their second album Freeze Frame Reality, but no later than with their third album Solutions for a Small Planet behind.

The band name " Haujobb " is based on a mistranslation of the word Skinjob from the movie Blade Runner. " Skinjob " ( "Skin Job" ) there is a pejorative term for a " replicants " ( artificial humans).

The EP Dead Market was published on 17 June 2011. This includes the same piece Dead Market in the original version as well as some remixes, created, inter alia, of artists such as The Horrorist and Absolute Body Control. In addition, the EP includes the song Letting the Demons Sleep ( Nightmare ).

The current Haujobb album New World March was released on November 11, 2011 .. For the first single Dead Market was established in March 2011, a music video - the first in the history of the project - produced and directed by Boris May from Klangstabil.
